“Free Books” in Castiglione della Pescaia for World Book Day

CASTIGLIONE DELLA PESCAIA – Tuesday 23 April is World Book and Copyright Day. On this occasion, the “Italo Calvino” municipal library of Castiglione della Pescaia, from 10 am to 6 pm, in a gazebo located in Piazza Garibaldi, will give away a book to every interested person.

There will be works of all genres available: from novels to essays, from best sellers to children’s books. It will be an excellent opportunity to get to know the Library and encourage you to read.

For the municipal administration of Castiglione della Pescaia, celebrating World Book Day «is a moment of important reflection on the key role that its library has in the expansion of knowledge and culture of the territory, not only towards residents, but also of the many tourists who frequent the country every year as was also underlined by the last G20 of the beaches where one of the discussion tables was dedicated to the libraries of the twenty most popular seaside resorts in Italy”.
