For the first time, on a proposal from the Public Cultural Service, welcomed with enthusiasm by the Mayor Faithful Lagreca and by the Councilor delegated for public education Felicetta Cilifresein collaboration with all schools of all levels in the city, our municipality participates in the initiative “The May of books” born in 2011 with the aim of underlining the social value of books as a key element of personal, cultural and civil growth.
April 23rdWorld Book and Copyright Day, also known as Book Day and roses, an event organized by UNESCO on 23 April each year, to promote reading, the publication of books and the protection of intellectual property through copyright, at 09:00 in all schools in Gravina, at the ringing of the bell, ALL activities will stop and everyone: managers, collaborators, teachers and students, will each take their own book and read, in silence, in the place where they are, for 5 minutes.
