Registrations are open for Master in Future Store Design which has an ambitious goal: to prepare a new generation of designers capable of designing hybrid commercial spaces, which combine online and offline elements. In this course of study, design concepts will be produced that are consistent with market demands and the needs of brands and consumers. The teachers, all professionals in the sector, will alternate theoretical lessons, visits, conferences, debates and case studies to outline a picture of the current situation, identify the trends and main changes in the retail sector. The Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos is the Mentor, while the course coordinators are Imma Matera and Tommaso Lucarini – TIPSTUDIO, a design studio focused on the exploration of physical and immaterial territories. The course starts in November 2024 and will be full-time in English.

Registrations are open for Two-year specialist course in Design for Public Spacesedited byEuropean Institute of Design in Rome, which will see its first edition next autumn. The objective is to train professionals capable of dealing with and managing processes of activation or regeneration of collective spaces, from the first design developments to implementation, guiding the various steps of sharing and discussion. The course addresses various design areas, from the staging of temporary events to the design of public spaces, to allow students to acquire awareness of the different phases of design and the interpretative tools to coordinate them. Leading the two-year period which begins in October 2024 and is full time in English, the architect, partner of TSPOON, Eliana Saracino. To attend the Master’s Degree in Design for Public Spaces it is necessary to have obtained a First Level Academic Diploma or a Three-year Degree.

Registrations for the new one are open Master’s Degree Course in Interactive Environments which trains professionals of digital cultures applied to territories. This is a new two-year specialist course, active from next autumn, which will train designers in the field of new media at different scales, to be able to conceive and create from apps to environments, from installations to immersive experiences, with a focus on the communication of art, of the culture and values ​​of the territory. The training provided by the course will therefore allow an in-depth knowledge of interactive and digital technologies, to experiment with the possibilities of applying them to the story and experience of territories and their values, to tourism, to the world of art and culture. The two-year period will be coordinated and guided by the interdisciplinary artistic duo Saverio Villirillo and Gregorio Comandini founders of the NONE collective and the new LIMINAL STATE project.

There General Directorate for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture throw one Call for abstracts by title Women in architecture with the aim of analyzing the state of studies regarding the topic addressed in recent years, on the occasion of initiatives such as exhibitions and conferences, promoted by various national and international institutions. Objective? promote the publication of a volume and its presentation as part of a conference that will take place in the spring of 2025. The thematic areas identified are: training and teaching in Italian architecture schools; publishing and promotion (editing magazines and holding exhibitions); international activity; city, landscape, cultural heritage; design; exercise of the profession; design and applied arts. To participate in the publication it is necessary to send an abstract, of a maximum of 2 thousand characters including spaces, in Italian and English.

The call is online, open to emerging artists and groups resident in Italy, Portugal and Spain interested in undertaking a training course with expert professionals from the national and international music industry and performing in showcases on a stage during an international event to be held in Turin in November. The 4 groups will be selected at the sole discretion of an international jury made up of sPAZIO211, La Parceria, Jazzo Ao Centro Clube. The selected groups will receive: theoretical and practical training, a sum of 1000 euros gross for the performance, plus a travel grant for future European performances. The training period will begin in May and end in October 2024 with online training sessions, and is aimed at transferring know-how and methodologies on the topics of: DIY music management, distribution and promotion, marketing and music communication strategies, networking.
