Rome welcomes a new and significant player in the cultural and philanthropic panorama: the Bvlgari Foundation. The institution aims to position itself as a catalyst for social and cultural transformation in the Capital, focusing on the intersection between art, culture and social responsibility.
The Foundation was inaugurated with an event at the Ara Pacis, in the presence of Roberto Gualtierimayor of Rome, Claudio Parisi PresicceCapitoline Superintendent of Cultural Heritage, e Jean Christophe Babin, CEO of Bvlgari. The creation of the Foundation further underlines the commitment on the part of Bvlgaria famous jewelery and luxury brand, in patronage and support for cultural heritage: news from a few days ago was the financing of 700 thousand euros by the Maison for the construction of the Mausoleum of Augustus Museum, designed by the super architect Rem Koolhaas. Set to open in 2026, the Museum will host precious archaeological finds, such as the Head of Venus found a year ago.
The birth of the Bvlgari Foundation
The Bvlgari Foundation is thus committed to the protection of monuments, support for contemporary art, education, philanthropy and the promotion of social inclusion. Among the initiatives, the collaboration with Save the Children, the Avrora prize for talented women, and support for the project Adopt a High Range School. At the Bvlgari Jewelry Academy and to Bvlgari School instead, it is the task of transmitting artisanal skills to the new generations, thus connecting tradition and innovation.
