On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2024 Castiglioni Palace hosts the second edition “Spanish Apartment”a collaborative project between Elle Decor Italia And ICEX– España Exportación e Informaziones which translates an innovative interior design concept into a real living space to be experienced: a real temporary house open to the public, in which indoor and outdoor furnishings and accessories from 18 Spanish companies active in the design field coexist.
The interior project, created by Frederik De Wachter and Alberto Artesani of DWA Design Studioreinterprets the environments of this historic building, establishing a dialogue between a classic architectural system and contemporary design choices to create a fluid and continuous living space.
Guests will also be able to participate in a talk program:
- Wednesday 17 April at 11.30 am “Interiors from Spain: in the matter of light” – Livia Peraldo, director of Elle Decor Italia, will talk with the designers Marta Alonso Yebra-Imanol Calderón Elósegue (Mayice) and Héctor Serrano (Héctor Serrano Studio)
- Thursday 18 April at 11.30 am “Interiors from Spain: focus on materials” – Elisa Mencarelli, journalist of Elle decor Italia” in conversation with the designers Omayra Maymó (Omayra Maymó Studio) and Lucas Muñoz (Studio Lucas Muñoz)
