The painter’s family Giorgio Di Giorgio, from Viareggio, donated a painting by the artist to the Diocese museum. The painting “comes home”, Di Giorgio and his family have in fact lived for several years in Livorno. “This work struck me immediately – explains Bishop Giusti – in particular its going beyond what can be seen. The pastel color dominates everything and gives a feeling of peace and serenity. I thank the Di Giorgio family infinitely and I hope that many people, tourists and citizens, come to visit our museum”. His wife Giovanna: “Giorgio lived on painting and poetry”. Daughter Francesca: “This is the work par excellence

of the exhibition, enhances all the values ​​of my father. And the reading given by His Excellency of the painting moved us.” Monsignor Giusti also presented two works of art, also present in the diocesan museum, created by the artist Fulvio Di Lazzaro.
