Tagadà, total clash between Anna Falcone and Gasparri, Panella intervenes

We are talking about the reform of premiered strongly supported by the government of Giorgia Meloni by Tiziana Panella a Tagada, on La7, in the May 10th episode. In the studio, sitting on the same red sofa are the jurist and activist Anna Falcone and the group leader of Forza Italia in the Senate Maurizio Gasparri.

Tempers flare up immediately, Anna Falcone blurts out: “With the premiership we don’t want to give more power to the voters but to give a lot more power to the prime minister candidate so that the majority cannot be questioned by Parliament”. Gasparri meanwhile says something but the jurist raise your voice and continues: “Ours is a parliamentary Republic: the Parliament is sovereign: why don’t you let the citizens choose the candidates instead of making blocked lists? There is a limit in the Constitution which is the republican form.”

An analysis not shared by Gasparri who in turn accuses Falcone of wanting bring down governments with “palace maneuvers”: “The electoral law must be changed. We want the citizens to decide. I citizens are sovereign and so they can choose”, insists the blue senator while the jurist continues to talk over him.

So much so that at a certain point the presenter is forced to intervene and invites her guests to tone it down. “Gasparri, I’m here. This thing is useless, Falcone too. Otherwise we’ll end up with this show here. I ask you to stop“.
