From Tuesday 30 April (from 4.30pm) to Wednesday 1 May (until 6.30pm), at the Lyrick Theater in Assisi, there will be over a thousand young people participating in “Stand By Me, to leave your imprint”, the two-day training program between prayer, entertainment, fun and workshops for the animators of 29 Oratories of the Dioceses of Perugia-Città della Pieve and Assisi-Nocera Umbra-Gualdo Tadino engaged in summer oratorial activities. The aim, the organizers underline, is to “bring out and direct the passions of the children so that they can find their identity, vocation and mission”. The meeting is promoted by the Perugia Oratori Coordination and the Anspi Perugia-Città della Pieve Zonal Committee, with the support of some sponsors and the involvement of the other components of the Youth Area of the Diocese of Perugia-Città della Pieve (Youth Ministry, University Ministry and Vocational Ministry) and the Youth Ministry of Assisi. The two-day program includes over twenty training stands on various areas, Bishop Ivan Maffeis’s mandate to all participants in view of the next “Gr.Est” and the final show “Odyssey + or -” on the theme of Gr.Est 2024 “A Gonfie Vele” created by Laboratorio Teatrale Cielo together with Kalè490. The performance of the Christian rock band “Reale” is highly anticipated and will hold an evangelization concert on the stage of the Lyrick on Tuesday evening.
