The 2024 Giro d’Italia finds fast wheels again after two days in the high mountains dedicated to climbers and which could give a definitive shake-up to the general classification. An eighteenth stage where the group will be able to breathe, starting from Fiera di Primiero and arriving in Padua, crossing the lands of Prosecco, Treviso and the Venetian hinterland.

After the terrible two days in the mountains, the sprinters are back as protagonists, at least those still remaining within the Corsa Rosa. Only one GPM at the beginning, the fourth category of Lamon, then the road will tend to descend, except for a few very small hills (the group won’t even notice) with the arrival at the final finish line in Padua for the sprinters.
