The Grand Place in Pollein hosted the 14th Tsan Master, recording the participation of 66 teams divided into 22 groups, 54 men’s teams and 12 women’s. The day of competition saw a total of 2,299 paletou in the 5 available fields.
Didier Colombin of Verrayes, twice runner-up and winner in the 2018 Master Juniores, won the Masters for the first time. In the women’s tournament, Sylvie Grosjacques of Challand Saint-Anselme achieved victory for the second time, while Jody Vittaz from Châtillon collected trophies by winning both the sixth junior edition and the junior paletou with a score of 309 metres.
The 30th Ages Trophy was won by Chambave 1who won the title for the third consecutive time, with a score of 768 against 717, beating the Verrayes 3. The winning components of Chambave 1 were: Denis Perrin, Micael Machet, Christian Peraillon, Raphael Chatrian and Michel Alliod.
In the women’s team competition, it Challand Saint-Anselme dominated for the sixth time, with a 336 to 147 victory against Pollein.
The highest scores were achieved by Chambave (966) and the women’s Challand Saint-Anselme (499). Among the individual performances, those of Manuel Brunod (242 meters) e Isabelle Grosjacques (153 meters), who also made the longest paletou with 127 and 85 meters, respectively.
Young champions in the junior categories include Jody Vittaz, Nicole Ducly, Thierry Thuegaz, Clement Piccot, Cloe Guglielmino, Xavier Fragno And Liam Cheney.
