LATINA – On May 9th Latina, the Carabinieri of the local Operational Department-Investigation Unit, have notified a decree of application of the special surveillance measure of public security by the Criminal Section III, Specialized Section-measures of prevention of the Civil and Criminal Court of Rome, at the request of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Latina, to a 49-year-old Pontineconsidered dangerous as a person who habitually lives with the proceeds of criminal activity and dedicated to the commission of crimes that endanger public safety and tranquility.
The investigation activity, carried out by the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit under the direction of the Pontine Prosecutor’s Office, made it possible to demonstrate how the man, since he was just an adult, almost without interruption, was a person engaged in criminal activities such as crimes against property and drugs.
The provision will oblige the young person, for the next 2 years, not to leave the municipality of residence or habitual residencea, not to leave your home between 9.30pm and 6.30am, to immediately start looking for a job and not to associate with people who have been convicted and are subject to prevention measures. The measure is in the precautionary phase, with the consequence that the principle of presumption of innocence applies to the person subjected to the measure.
