The Ukrainian army announced that it attacked the Russian rescue ship “Kommuna”, in the port of Sevastopol, Crimea. “The nature of the damage is being clarified, but now the ship is not able to carry out its tasks,” said Ukrainian Armed Forces spokesman Dmitro Pletenchuk. “This will be repeated until the Russians run out of ships or withdraw from Crimea,” the spokesman warned in a statement posted on his Facebook page.

Explosion in Odessa, air alert goes off
An explosion was heard today in Odessa, in southern Ukraine, where an air alert was triggered following the “threat” of ballistic missiles coming from occupied Crimea: this was reported by Rbc-Ukraine, which cites the Air Force, the mayor of city Gennady Trukhanov and the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine. “An explosion is heard in the city,” Trukhanov wrote, urging the population to stay in shelters. “There is still a goal in our direction,” he added. “Attention! Ballistic threat from Crimea,” the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine announced.
