Two Palestinians were killed during clashes with the Israeli army in the al-Fara refugee camp in Tubas (near Nablus) in the West Bank. This was reported – with Red Crescent sources – by the Wafa agency which identified one of the two killed as Muhammad Issam Shahmawi while the name of the second is not yet available. The Israeli army has not yet given its version.

The Israeli army has confirmed the killing of two Palestinians, both from Hamas, in Tubas in the West Bank. One of the two – according to the military spokesman – was Mohammad Omar Daragameh, commander of the Hamas military wing in the area.

The man – he continued – “was killed during a firefight with the troops, after he had opened fire on the soldiers from a vehicle”.

Wafa, ‘settler attack, one dead in West Bank’

One Palestinian was killed and 18 were injured in an attack by Israeli settlers in the West Bank village of al-Mughayir, who gave
houses and tanks set on fire. This was reported by the Palestinian agency Wafa. The settlers’ incursion into the Palestinian village comes as the army searches for a missing 14-year-old Israeli boy from a farm near the Malachei Shalom outpost.
