Talking about their relationship both on and off the set was Connor Storrie during an interview given to Vulture. Chemistry is not something you can build, we also have it off set. What kind of life did we live during the filming period? We basically always did the same things: set, house, cooking together, training, and then getting excited like kids over the fact that we were finally working on a project of this level. If we hadn’t been so close, we probably would have gotten bored of each other in no time. Our harmony during this promotional tour? It’s there, as always. Then things can get out of hand. If Hudson throws out a very provocative and no-holds-barred joke, in jest of course, I think that automatically gives the green light to others to raise the tone of the conversation as well. People are ruthless: they talk without filters about our body parts, all of them! My real relationship with Hudson? For me it’s not “hot” at all, it’s simply the relationship I have with my best friend. It’s the first time in my life that so many people are looking at me. They saw me undressed, they saw me kiss someone, they saw me fall in love with a man on screen. So it’s normal that they then try to transfer all this into my real life and Hudson’s. And I also understand the curiosity about our private lives. I mean, I feel honored to be able to bring to life a character through which so many people feel seen, understood and represented. And I believe this goes far beyond who I kiss or fall in love with in my private life.
