One of the most anticipated moments of the seventh evening event Friends was that of the gauntlet between the profs, where Rudy Zerbi and Alessandra Celentano they demonstrated once again why they are “the coolest on TV”. Among the bewilderment of Maria De Filippi and the surprise of the other teachers, the team enchanted with a tribute to the dance teacher’s uncle, Adriano Celentanowith a medley of his songs and a rather particular addition.
The presenter’s reaction was incredible and Zerbi and Cele were also loudly acclaimed by the studio audience.
The tribute to Adriano Celentano
Alessandra Celentano chose to play at home for one of the last challenges and propose a medley of the most famous songs by his uncle Adriano Celentano, while Lorella Cuccarini and Emanuel Lo tried their hand at revisiting the musical “Mamma Mia” and Anna Pettinelli and Raimondo Todaro, singing they chose to dance and sing (and fly) to the tune of “Walkig on sunshine”.
Zerbi and Celentano were very elegant with the overcoat and hat that perfectly recalled the great Adriano Celentano and the “arrogant” smile of the dance teacher was perfect throughout the performance. «If life were a song, uncle Adriano it would be one of our favorite refrains! I love you uncle”, wrote the teacher on her Instagram profile, sharing the shots of their performance.
Maria De Filippi’s comment
Maria De Filippi he immediately commented on the performance with a laugh and a note: «I had the honor of working with your uncle only once and he is a very nice, talented person. One sees him and then sees you next to him… but what do you have to do with him?”
The point of the gauntlet did not go to the more “tele-savvy” ones, but the duo certainly won the hearts of the public once again.
