The sixth episode of the evening of Friends came to an end and saw the dancer Sofia saying goodbye to her traveling companions, taking home a scholarship to New York, at the Joffrey Ballet School. The ones who ended up in the three-way ballot were her, Martina and, to the public’s great surprise, also Holden. Always one of the favorite singers, the boy was amazed, but now the competition becomes more and more intense and difficult.
Fortunately, she manages to save herself already in the final phase and only Martina and Sofia end up at risk of elimination, having discovered the verdict once they returned to the Casetta. Shortly before leaving the studio, Holden asked Maria De Filippi for permission to do something which, however, was cut during the editing phase. What did Holden want to do?
Holden’s hug
Just before leaving the studio, Holden he noticed a very sweet little girl stretching out her hands towards him because she wanted to hug him. The singer noticed her promptly and, once they reached the end of the episode, he asked Maria De Filippi the permission to be able to go towards that special little girl and to be able to hug her. Under the watchful and sweet gaze of the presenter, who gave her permission, Holden ran towards her and hugged her.
Although the moment was filmed by cameras and seen by the audience present in the studio, this scene was cut during the editing phase. According to some, the reason behind this choice is to be found in the age of the little girl: the little girl, in fact, was a minor and she would not have been able to appear on television after midnight.
