New episode and new elimination for the evening show Friends 23. Friends 23: deleted, recap and what happened (April 27)
The episode of Friends on Saturday 27 April 2024 started with the clash between the team of Emanuel Lo And Lorella Cuccariniwho had the snitch, and that of Alessandra Celentano And Rudy Zerbi. Tempers flared during the two gauntlets, the one on improvisation between Sofia and Marisol, and the one between Mida and Petit. At the end of the heat it was Cucca-Lo who won, and Holden ended up in the final ballot at risk of elimination.
The clash between the Zerbanos and the Cucca-Los was repeated in the second round, and this time the verdict was the opposite, and Sofia lost the challenge to save herself from the run-off.
The third heat saw the clash between the teams of Rudy Zerbi and Alessandra Celentano and that of Anna Pettinelli And Raimondo Todarowhich only had one student left, the singer Martina, who therefore had three clashes, but then ended up in the run-off.
Between Sofia, Holden and Martina, the first to save himself at the end was Holden. After the clash between the dancer and the singer, Sofia was the one who had to leave school.
Obviously, in the long evening of Amici 23 there was no shortage of controversy, but also moments of “colour”, such as the inevitable challenge between teachers, while the host Can Yaman was the subject of a pleasant surprise for Cristiano Malgioglio and for the entire audience of the broadcast. Amici 23, the Top moments of Saturday 27 April
Dustin, rating: 8.5 Also this evening the Australian dancer from the team of Alessandra Celentano and Rudy Zerbi gave the public a great show. Dustin gave two performances of the highest level, one of which ended with Giuseppe Giofrè standing and applauding him saying: “This was a final piece!”. Shortly before, he had engaged in a wild pizzica, truly enthralling.
Martina, vote: 8 Lots of (deserved) compliments for Martina, but in the end the singer has to go to the ballot. Malgioglio even goes so far as to tell her, not only that he will write a song for her, but also that will propose it for the Sanremo Festival. After a difficult week for the singer, who had gone into a bit of a crisis after being told in different ways that she has “a beautiful voice but it doesn’t excite”, this evening Martina did very well with three very different songs, demonstrating to be willing to get involved and to have the qualities to come out very well, even if they end up in the run-off. To save herself, she then sings three more songs, showing off a talent that is all there, Friends or not Friends.
Sofia rating: 7.5. On the evening when she has to leave school, we give Sofia what is Sofia’s. In the clash with Sarah who sings her unreleased song to avoid the final ballot, Sofia gets the worst of it, but it’s a shame, because her performance, on the notes of Love story by Adriano Celentano, is one of the most beautiful we have seen her do since the beginning of the evening and in fact, when she finishes performing, her teacher Emanuel Lo does not hold back his enthusiasm. Unfortunately the judges don’t appreciate her in the same way, she ends up in the run-off, and she succumbs in the clash with Martina. However, this evening, even though she has to go out, she was very good.
Alessandra Celentano tiger mother: rating 7.5. The world (of Amici) has been turning upside down for a few weeks. The terrible teacher Celentano is now a wild ultras of her two super talented jewels, Dustin and Marisol, who she defends with all her might and not only that, she also showers with compliments! We have reached the paradox that, at a certain point, on the occasion of the clash between Dustin and Midas, Celentano showers her dancer with praise and Lorella Cuccarini, who has always been called contemptuously by the teacher “mother hen”, instead says: “Compliments to Midas? No, too many compliments are useless.” And on social media, there are those who write: “Alessandra Celentano is like those teachers who bullied you during the year but then praised you and helped you during the exam ❤”
The challenge between professors, Zerbi-Cele, vote: 7 (to the perfection of representation of the ravine) We don’t generally love this moment of the show, but in this evening’s episode the Zerbi-Cele couple was so extreme that they were admired for their courage/recklessness and for having given new meaning to the word trash. The teacher entered the studio in the guise of Samara from The Ring, after leaving everyone in the dark with Malgioglio warning: “I’m claustrophobic” and De Filippi assuring: “I don’t know anything about it”. After her, the worthy companion Zerbi entered the scene in the guise of Frankula, a being halfway between Dracula and Frankestein, who ends his number between songs and dances, trying to kiss the three judges, and making the unfortunate man fall to the ground Malgioglio. A moment that Maria De Filippi immediately defines as “Really bad”, but bad in such an absolute way that the two win the challenge.
Flop
Cristiano Malgioglio, rating: 4, 5 Judge Malgioglio takes the flop vote when, for once, or rather, for the second, gives a strong support to Alessandra Celentano, which disputes the validity of Emanuel Lo’s decision which threw down, for the second time, a gauntlet on improvisation, between Sofia and Marisol. Like teacher Celentano, who carries a blackboard where she draws “balls”, to signify the repetitiveness of a useless request, Malgioglio also raises his shields in defense of Marisol, who absolutely does not need them, against the “culprit” of having given her a task that stimulates her to do more in one of the few things in which she cannot boast perfection. In short, a glove that serves to stimulate the growth of a student, talented, but who still has room for improvement, and the lèse majesté appears ridiculous in a context which is that of a talent and a “school” of performing arts. So, long live the challenges, and Marisol, in fact, did very well.
Petit, rating: 5 After having made a clear path, during the Sunday and in the first episodes of the evening, the young singer is perhaps a bit tired of the journey, the fact is that it is really difficult to indicate a truly exciting performance in the last two episodes. Even this evening unfortunately it doesn’t stand out, but he should treasure the fact that the best number is the one in which he sings You were little by Fred Buscaglione without adding slashes. A piece that is perfectly in its tune, ironic and swinging (and without bars!), and he should continue to test himself on this type of pieces, to show something else besides his usual. At this point in the evening a little more courage is needed.
Holden, rating: 5 He too had started the journey very well, but in the evening he is unable to shine, at least in the last few weeks, and perhaps for him too the same thing applies to Petit: a little more courage to get out of his comfort zone maybe it would help.
