Alex Belli expressed his opinion on the new edition ofIsland of the Famous conducted by Vladimir Luxuria. The former castaway not only recalled his participation in the reality show, which took place in 2015, but spoke above all of the «Francesco Benigno case», the Sicilian actor who, after the announcement of suspension by the Island of the Famous, lashed out against the production of the program, making serious accusations.
Belli explained what he likes and doesn’t like about this new edition, starting from the change of management up to the new castaways.

It’s one thing if you take a stranger who you don’t know how he can react but if you take a person who is inclined to not have control you take away the possibility of someone else being the Island. Especially in a program like that, either you have incredible self-control or you can put a tombstone on it because you can’t risk hiring a person who goes off the handle after a week. And they know it because there are twenty authors, a psychologist. This is what I don’t like about the Island, the authorial thought of saying “we put this on because it creates dynamics”. I fear that today there is no longer any risk.”
Alex Belli revealed what things he likes about this new edition of the reality show. «There was a nice refresh and I liked this – he added -. I like Vladi because he withdraws so it’s perfect. The thing that I don’t like is that they inserted a character who does the opposite, that is Daniele Radini Tedeschi. I think he was put there specifically to tease Joe Bastianich.”
