The Canale 5 reality show has been on the air since 2000, and over the course of more than 20 years of transmission, it has undergone several changes. It was initially hosted by Daria Bignardi, followed by Barbara D’Urso and then Alessia Marcuzzi, with a later return of the Neapolitan presenter for two more editions and the arrival of Alfonso Signorini. Naturally we are referring to the traditional version of the program, i.e. the one starring mostly ordinary people, unrelated to the show.
Born as a social experiment, during its many editions, it contributed to launching very well-known faces in the entertainment industry today such as Luca Argentero, Pietro Taricone and Eleonora Daniele, just to give a few examples. But Big Brother has also often ended up in the eye of the storm for controversies unleashed by its competitors. It is impossible not to remember the scandal caused by Baye Dame’s behavior at the 2018 GF, which resulted in his immediate disqualification, or the effusions between Cristina Plevani and Taricone during the first edition.
Certainly no one expected, however, that one of its protagonists would even end up in prison. This is what happened to the man who was part, in one way or another, of a big brother led in recent times by Barbara D’Urso, who was sentenced to three years and three months for personal injury and mistreatment of his ex-partner.

It is nothing less than Giorgio Tambellini, boyfriend of Francesca De Andrè, among the protagonists of Big Brother 16. Having intervened several times during the episodes, the Tuscan boy, although not an official tenant, had already sparked quite a few doubts among viewers, who considered him over the top and in some cases even very aggressive towards Cristiano’s daughter.

Although they had broken up, the two then got back together but in 2022 De Andrè had said on social media that she had been attacked by him and had also shown the signs on his online profiles. Francesca even ended up in the emergency room with a head injury and a face full of bruises. Tambellini was subsequently banned from approaching and removed from the house he shared with the girl. Now the sentence has arrived which sentenced him to three years and three months, even if for Francesca it is not enough and she has already said she wants justice: “This is too light a sentence. We will also proceed in civil court. It doesn’t end here, because he, for example, continues to follow me” he declared to the newspapers.
