Vigarano Mainarda. Yesterday (Friday, June 28) morning, Mayor Davide Bergamini, accompanied by Acer technicians and representatives of the company in charge of the renovation, carried out an inspection of the former school in Vigarano Mainarda. The building will be transformed into eight modern public housing apartments.
“I am very satisfied with the project and the progress that is respecting the expected timeframes,” declared Mayor Bergamini. “This is a useful project not only for our territory, but above all for the most vulnerable people. It will be a concrete help for those who today need a house at a subsidized rent.”
The apartments, characterized by a latest-generation energy classification, will be intended for people who need a low-cost home. The project foresees that 50% of the housing units will have a second, smaller bedroom, offering versatile housing solutions suitable for different needs.
“We firmly believe that this project represents an added value for our community,” continued Bergamini. “It will allow the most economically fragile people to have a modern home in the heart of Vigarano Mainarda, maintaining the external appearance of the building unchanged, but with interventions that will guarantee maximum efficiency and comfort. We continue to work to improve our Municipality.”
