In addition to those already mentioned, the other Italian tennis players competing are: Sinner, whose past has a bit of Tuscany as he was a member of the Tennis Club Italia in Forte dei Marmi as a teenager, Matthew Arnaldi, Lorenzo Sonego (the only Italian seed, besides Jannik), Luciano Darderi, Luca Nardi, Matteo Berrettini, Fabio Fognini, Mattia Bellucci, Elisabetta Cocciaretto, Lucia Bronzetti and Sara Errani.
The debut races
As for today’s match schedule, Jannik Sinner will make his Wimbledon debut and will close the program on Court 1 while Paolini will play the second match on court number 3. The first to take to the court were Matteo Arnaldi (who unfortunately lost in six sets to Frances Tiafoe) and Fabio Fognini who instead got the better of the Frenchman Luca Van Assche. Debut matches also for Trevisan, Errani, Berrettini (2021 finalist who, having passed the first round, should meet Sinner very soon on his path), Bellucci and Sonego.
