It will be held this afternoon at the hospital Umberto I of Syracuse, the autopsy on the body of Vincenzo, the 10-year-old boy from Palazzolo Acreide, who died after falling into a 15-meter deep well located on a farm in the Falabia district, in the mountainous municipal area.

The Syracuse prosecutor’s office has set the date for the autopsy after completing the investigations on all the people present during the tragedy on the land owned by the number 1 of Anffas, the social cooperative that organized the summer camp in which Vincenzo participated. The owner of the land is among the nine people under investigation in the investigation. All are being investigated as a matter of course, in view of the unrepeatable examination: among them also the head of the association and the operators, including the woman who was injured when she went down into the well in an attempt to help Vincenzo. The investigation is not yet concluded. The Syracuse carabinieri will start some expert assessments in the next few hours, with particular attention to the well built in the company to verify whether it was built in compliance with safety regulations. All the moments that brought Vincenzo near and, unfortunately, inside the well will also need to be verified. Vincenzo’s mother, Paola Carnemolla, in the meantime continues to entrust her excruciating pain to social media, a pain that, as she wrote, will never subside. Heartbreaking phrases, like one of the last ones posted. “And then another day comes without my Vincenzino, our life. Our life without you has become hell, my heart in a thousand pieces, my Vincenzino, the sun of my life”.
