Flood, regional portal for refunds to citizens and businesses opened

The Tuscany Region portal for reporting expenses is open from today (July 1st) supported for the immediate support of citizens, businesses and agricultural companies following the flood.

To activate the refund procedure, it is necessary to connect to the address https://www.regione.toscana.it/alluvione2023 where citizens will be able to upload receipts, invoices, and everything that certifies the expenses incurred, in order to then receive reimbursements. After the government’s allocation of 66 million for immediate support, the president Eugenio Giani as commissioner, he immediately activated the necessary procedures to open the portal and enable citizens and businesses to obtain the reimbursements provided for by national provisions, up to 5 thousand euros for families and up to 20 thousand euros for businesses affected by the flood.

“Since the day of the flood – said Giani – I have always been on the front line with the utmost attention paid to the citizens affected. From the immediate allocation of regional resources (a total of 25 million which we are completing to disburse), to the calls for support for businesses, the extremely urgent interventions in the affected areas, concluded in most cases, but still in progress where the works take longer , until today, in which, with the opening of the portal, a further phase opens, that of reimbursements which will lead to the distribution of the 66 million allocated by the government of which I am executive commissioner for families and businesses. They are cumulative contributions – President Giani recalled – with the 3000 euros that the families have received or are receiving”.

Anyone who makes a refund request for more than 8,000 euros can request an advance of 2,500 euros
