Rome, July 1 (askanews) – 350,000 votes were collected on the Ciak website, ciakmagazine.it for the second edition of the Ciak d’oro Serie tv, which allowed the public to choose their favorite titles and the protagonists of a year of stories told by great seriality, voting for them on the Ciak website, among the titles released between April 1, 2023 and May 31, 2024. Seven categories were voted: Best Italian series of the year, Best Italian actor and actress of the year, Best international series and Best international protagonist, in this case without distinction of gender.
Also present this year are two independent categories dedicated to the tastes of the younger audience: Best Series and Best Leading Actor (No Gender). The audience elected Best Italian Series of the Year Un’estate fa. Maria Chiara Giannetta, the protagonist of the second season of Blanca, was voted Best Italian Actress, while Luca Argentero was elected Best Actor for his performance in Doc – Nelle tue mani 3. Among the international series, Lupin 3 triumphed by a hair’s breadth, after a long head-to-head with another popular Netflix series, The Crown 6. The Best International Leading Actor was elected with a real plebiscite to India Amarteifio, the protagonist of Queen Charlotte – A Bridgerton Story, also proposed by Netflix. In the two categories dedicated to the younger audience, the Best Italian Series was Pesci piccoli – Un’agenzia. Molti idee. Low budget, by Prime Video signed and interpreted by The Jackal, while Nicolas Maupas won among the Protagonists of the year faces, thanks to his interpretations in A Professor 2 and We are Legend. The panorama of the awards will be completed in the next few days by the awards curated by the editorial staff of Ciak, including the Superciak d’oro 2023.
