How social impact investments transform society into a driver of development, through
integrated regeneration of territories
Saturday 22 June at 11.30 am, in the Council Room of Palazzo San Francesco in Agnone (IS),
will hold the public meeting to present the TAPPA Project, promoted by: Fondazione Etica,
Cooperative With the Hand of the Heart – I Caraccioli for the Social, Common Places with Social Impact
APS, from the Municipalities of Agnone, Pietrabbondante and Isernia, Province of Isernia, Business Department
Regional and Autonomies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, responsible for the ITALIAE project,
and UNCEM, with the patronage of CIA.
The Path of San Francesco Caracciolo represents the common thread of a project that intends to act
on each of the dynamics that affect the progressive loss of competitiveness of the territory of
reference: depopulation, aging population, infrastructure deficiencies, businesses
individual not updated, especially technologically, very short tourist seasons, offer
accommodation inadequate to the new standards of demand, lack of major attractors.
The strategy is based on the narrative potential of the Paths, as demonstrated by the models of the Path of
Santiago de Compostela in Spain and the Via Francigena in Italy, and on their connective power: the
The walk itself lends itself to relating multiple places, where each attraction factor, as well as
stimulate one’s own direct demand, act as a driving force and “sponsor” for others, creating a system
interconnected in which every cultural, artistic and naturalistic asset becomes the stage of a journey and
not a place in itself.
With this objective of integrated valorisation of a territory rich in nature, knowledge, traditions,
gastronomic excellence, history, the promoters have already signed an operational memorandum of understanding,
but not only that: the project aim is also to spread and consolidate a model
social impact investments, starting from the regeneration of public real estate in
disuse to “transform the social into an engine of economic development”.
