The Friuli Venezia Giulia confirms its support for Local Pro Locoallocating 850 thousand euros For promote tourism and support the functioning of territorial organizations. This contribution was approved during the last session of the regional council, as announced by the councilor for Productive Activities, Sergio Emidio Bini.
The distribution of funds
Of the total 850 thousand euros, 600,000 euros will be dedicated to promoting the activities of the Pro Loco, 75,100 euros the functioning of the offices, 21,900 euros for the expenses of the offices of the Pro Loco consortia and 153,000 euros for the operation of the Unpli FVG. These funds will guarantee that each Pro Loco registered in the regional register receives a contribution for the activities planned in 2024 and for operational expenses.
The role of Pro Loco in Friuli-Venezia Giulia
Councilor Bini underlined the strategic importance of the Pro Loco, describing them as a added value for the territory; not only do they animate the social fabric of countries, but they are also crucial for preserving and promoting the historical, artistic, cultural and naturalistic peculiarities of their localities.

Thanks to the collaboration between the Region and local associations, the Pro Loco system of Friuli-Venezia Giulia is considered an example at national level. This alliance has made it possible to strengthen local tourism, enhancing the resources of the area and improving the attractiveness of the region.
