What will be the future of coach Marco Ramondino?

With today’s announcement, it seems, of Nicola Brienza’s return to Cantù, Marco Ramondino is the only top Italian coach – together with Sergio Scariolo – not to have a team. The Avellino coach is actually under contract with Tortona, so let’s say he would have his salary paid for another year (in truth he would be fine until June 2026) without problems but he would like to go back to experiencing the gym every day and the thrill of competition.

The only Italian team that wants him is Fortitudo Bologna, but he doesn’t want to go down to Serie A2in addition to the fact that he has a truly onerous contract for Effe. The real alternativewhich has no economic problems, is the Besiktas, a Turkish team that has been at the former Tortona and Casale Monferrato for several months. He is waiting to understand possible developments in Italy and Spain, even if at the moment there is nothing concrete.

We’ll see if in the end Marco Ramondino will accept the challenge of Fortitudo Bologna or if he will prefer to start from abroad, in particular from Turkey and Istanbul with Besiktas.
