ROSETO DEGLI ABRUZZI – At the invitation of the Mayor Mario Nugnes and the Regional Councilor Enio Peacockthe Regional Councilor for Public Works and Infrastructure Umberto D’Annuntiis, this morning he visited Palazzo di Città to meet the administrators of Roseto degli Abruzzi. At the center of the discussion, which took place in the Council Room in the presence of the First Citizen, the Councillors, the President of the City Council and the Majority Councillors, several important projects financed with regional funds which affect the Roseto area and those subject to future financing.
In particular, the topics addressed concerned the funds to be identified and therefore allocated to the completion of the pier, the renovation of the 4 Palme Arena and the completion of the works for the Villa Comunale. We then focused on the state of the art with respect to the works already financed and to be implemented for the defense of the coast (Roseto Sud, Roseto Nord and Cologna Spiaggia cliffs) and on the intervention at the PalaMaggetti. The discussion then also covered the closely related issues of securing the embankment of the Vomano river from the hydrogeological risk and the intervention at the port of Roseto degli Abruzzi. Finally, the topic of the Autoport was addressed with the Councilor who announced the Region’s willingness to proceed shortly with the announcement of a tender for the management of the infrastructure, after seven subjects responded to the event interest proposed by the regional body.
