Well yes, it is not certain that those produced years ago are destined to become increasingly devalued as they are supplanted by new technologies. Indeed, sometimes they are resold at a very high price. This is the case, for example, of one of Apple’s most beloved products, the iPhone. Specifically, we are referring to the first model which – provided it is in perfect condition and equipped with all accessories – can be resold for exorbitant prices: even 10,000 euros. Today, however, we will discuss another Apple product, namely the iPod, which for years has been one of the most popular of all, being bought by thousands if not even millions of people all over the world. So, let’s reveal how much an old iPod is worth.
The models
Of course, not all iPods can be resold at the same price. Some, like the Shuffle models, are not worth much: 50 or 100 euros as long as they are in excellent condition. Others, however, are more sought after and therefore more expensive.

The ones that can be resold at the highest price are the fourth generation iPod Touch. Some collectors are willing to buy them for even 6,000 euros, as long as they are still in their packaging.
There are also those who managed to resell an original second generation iPod for as much as 20,000 euros. And what about the first generation of classic iPod? At best, its value amounts to around 500 euros. Even in this case, obviously, it must be perfectly packaged. For many these are crazy figures and it is actually not certain that it is possible to find someone willing to buy an iPod at such high prices. However, the world of collecting sometimes hides surprises.
