A meeting took place yesterday at the offices of the Ministry for European Affairs, the South, Cohesion Policies and the Pnrr between the president of the Fiaip, Gian Battista Baccarini, and the minister Raffaele Fitto, during which the Federation presented a proposal for targeted integration of the objectives of using the Pnrr resources in our country. Fiaip’s proposal is based on the assumption that all the resources of the Pnrr will have to be used by 2026, of which to date only 45 billion have been spent. Hence the opportunity to channel part of this money into addressing a particularly sensitive problem for the construction-real estate sector and for the category of real estate agents. The proposal consists in allocating, by tying them, a part of the Pnrr resources to the digitalisation of public operational procedures relating to access to documents at the municipal technical offices in order to facilitate and speed up building-urban planning checks by encouraging the regular circulation of properties and the virtuous dynamism of the real estate market. This is for the benefit and protection of the community and of those who work there professionally, as well as helping to reduce litigation related to frequent documentary discrepancies compared to the real state of the property, thus avoiding further social costs. Minister Fitto made himself available to technically delve into the proposal, sharing its positive purpose. “A pragmatic meeting – said Baccarini – in which we brought to the minister’s attention an issue, that of the difficult access to documents, which heavily undermines the virtuous vitality of the real estate market as well as the serenity of citizens and us professional operators. In the next few days we will send to the ministry, as expressly requested, a detailed document containing our proposal which, as stated by the minister, will be examined on its merits with due attention. The Pnrr – he concluded – represents an extraordinary opportunity to intervene in an area which, to date, penalizes an important market such as the real estate one, damaging the attractiveness of our country and, above all, hindering a transversal social need, namely, the regular access to the house”.
