Accident during the dismantling of the circus in Maniago.
An accident occurred today in Maniago, shortly after 1pm, during dismantling operations of a circus. One worker remained crushed by a heavy cage. The firefighters of the local detachment intervened promptly to free the injured person and allow the medical staff of the Sores Fvg operations center to provide assistance.
The man remained conscious during the rescue and was subsequently transported by helicopter to Udine hospital, where he is currently hospitalized in serious but not life-threatening conditions. The competent authorities, including the Carabinieri and the Health Authority inspectors, have started investigations to verify compliance with the rules accident prevention measures during the accident.
