PRADAMANO (UDINE) – Fire at 1.45am on the night of Sunday 5 May. The firefighters of the Udine command intervened with the team from the Codroipo detachment, a team, 2 tankers and the ladder truck from the headquarters for the fire in an uninhabited 3-storey building in the center of Pradamano.
When the firefighters arrived on site, flames were coming out of the top floor windows and the fire was advancing towards the roof made of wood from the adjacent building. The firefighters immediately began extinguishing operations, checked that there were no people in the house on fire and, as a precaution, they brought out the lady living in the building adjacent to the one that was set on fire. The work of the teams ensured that the fire did not spread to the buildings bordering the one that burned. Once the flames were put out, the firefighters began cleaning up the burned parts and making the burned building safe. The causes of the fire are still under investigation.
