This is the driver of a van whom the investigators would have reached by viewing the footage from the cameras in the area. By cross-referencing timetables, roads and other elements, the police identified this vehicle as possibly responsible for the fatal collision. Dallavalle, 57 years old, dying, was found by a passing woman who immediately raised the alarm at the nearby Public Assistance office. Dallavalle, a few moments before dying, told rescuers that he had been hit by a car which then did not stop.
Now it remains to be seen whether the suspect is really the driver responsible for the tragedy. Also, is it possible that he didn’t notice anything?
