Meeting on legality with Catello Maresca and the Ansi association

In Macerata Campania there was a meeting on the culture of legality with the magistrate Catello Maresca, promoted and organized by the non-commissioned officers of the ANSI Section “Lgt. Baldassarre Nero” and by the “Dialettica APS” Association.

Palazzo Peccerillo in Corso Umberto I, home of the NCO association, was involved in the presentation of the book “The State Always Wins”. An appointment that gave rise to an interesting debate among the numerous participants with the magistrate who, we remember, arrested the clan leader of the Casalesi Michele Zagaria.

After the initial greetings from the Section President, Salvatore Buonocore, the video was shown to those in attendance which contains the summary of a long and complex investigation which led to the arrest of the Casalesi leader who was found inside a reinforced concrete bunker, built under a house in Casapesenna. Following this, several questions were asked to Maresca, firstly by Vincenza Rauccio, vice president of the “Dialettica APS” association; then by the kids from the Macerata Comprehensive Institute and also by several ordinary citizens who did not want to miss the opportunity to meet the well-known anti-mafia magistrate.

Following this, the National President of ANSI, Gaetano Ruocco, also present at the meeting, presented a certificate to Catello Maresca, naming him an honorary member of the non-commissioned officers’ association for his continuous commitment to legality. Subsequently, some members who distinguished themselves with their work in legality activities, organized by the ANSI Section of Macerata Campania, were awarded by military and civilian personalities present at the meeting; among these, non-commissioned officers of the various armed and police forces who have and serve Giuseppe Morrone (AM), Michele Farina (EI), Giuseppe Gazzillo (EI), Lorenzo Vetrella (EI), Franco Messina (Penitentiary Police), Gennaro Nacca ( EI) and the Section President Salvatore Buonocore (GdF).

The meeting ended with the presentation, by President Buonocore, of a commemorative plaque to Catello Maresca and thanks to the President of the “Dialettica APS” Association, Maria Rita Magnotta for her active collaboration.
