Last days of work in the historic center for the filming of Peter Greenaway’s international film with Oscar winners Dustin Hoffman and Helen Hunt, flanked by actors of the caliber of Sofia Boutella, Giacomo Ganniotti, Jonno Davies and Laura Morante. The technical and logistical support of the municipal offices was constant during the various preparatory and operational phases of the filming on set, which today (Thursday 2 May) took place again at Palazzo Pfanner, while tomorrow they will be in via Santa Giustina before the grand finale in Piazza San Frediano, Saturday 4 May.
Thanks to the active collaboration and continuous updates with the international production, Facing East, and with the Italian one, The Family, the municipal administration was able to promptly communicate the filming plan with the related changes to traffic and roads, to in order to minimize inconvenience and allow the smooth running of the largest film project that has ever affected the city.
Even in these last days of filming, free parking for residents in the blue stalls (with parking meters) will continue, as well as exits from other gates and the diversion of urban public transport.
