Jesi (Ancona), 2 May 2024 – The police catch him dealing in Porta Valle, arrest him but shortly afterwards release him as he has no criminal record. Yesterday afternoon at 6pm, judicial police personnel, under the command of the deputy commissioner Paolo Arena, concentrated the checks in Piazzale dei Partigiani, near the bus stop, a crossroads of people coming from various parts. The attention of the police was attracted by a young non-EU citizen who was handing a 10 euro banknote to a compatriot. With the use of the dog unit, we proceeded to check the young man who had handed the banknote to his friend: the dog Hermes immediately smelled the presence of narcotics on him. Indeed, the search carried out in the following moments by the police officers found the presence of a plastic wrapper hidden in the pocket of his jeans containing a hashish-type narcotic substance weighing a total of 31 grams. The banknote, recovered, was subjected to criminal seizure as it was the proceeds of drug dealing. Inside the room in which the Tunisian was found, a dose of narcotic substance of the hashish type was found, therefore of the same type as that seized from the same, wrapped in cellophane with a total weight of 1.7 grams placed on a gaming machine, probably abandoned in a hurry by a potential hirer to avoid coming across police checks. We also proceeded with the criminal seizure of the dose in question linked to the drug dealing activity. The young man was therefore declared under arrest and accompanied to the office for the formalities. Having notified the prosecutor on duty, considering the young man’s state of having no criminal record, not having to request precautionary measures, he ordered his release.
