Moment of silence today at the start of the funeral ceremony to remember the tragically deceased mayor
In workplaces, schools and barracks, a moment of silence will accompany the memory of the mayor Mirella Cerini at the beginning of working hours or at 11.00. This tribute will take place at the same time as the funeral of the first citizen, scheduled for 11.00 today, May 2nd.
Teachers were encouraged to promote, within their respective classrooms, activities aimed at reflecting on the importance of civic service and the contribution offered by Mayor Cerini to the community of Castellanza. These activities may consist of guided discussions, reflective writing, or art projects aimed at expressing the values of community engagement and leadership.
The director of the Manzoni Comprehensive Institute, Giuseppe Rizzo, underlined the importance of respectful and committed participation in these initiatives. In addition to commemorating the memory of Mayor Cerini, these moments aim to strengthen the sense of community and civic responsibility among students.
