Peace for Palestine: facts beyond narratives
Journalist Christian Elia talks to Luca Guzzetti
War correspondent and expert on the Middle East, Christian Elia is co-author with Francesca Albanese of the book “J’accuse”, born before the brutal attack by Hamas on 7 October 2023 and the subsequent Israeli war in Gaza – at a time when the media attention on the situation in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories was minimal – precisely to communicate to readers the urgency of a topic that could not be ignored. “J’accuse” is based on three international reports for the United Nations – presented by Albanese in October 2022, July and October 2023 respectively – which document the affirmation of a condition of apartheid and a neocolonial occupation with thousands of victims.
Luca Guzzetti will discuss with Christian Elia a complex and dramatic story that does not begin on October 7 last year.
