The 2024 edition of the Ecclesiastical Cultural Heritage Promotion Days will take place from 11 to 19 May, sponsored by the National Office for Ecclesiastical Cultural Heritage and Church Buildings of the Italian Episcopal Conference.
This year’s theme: XL Concordat. 40 years for the “promotion of man and the good of the country”. National Office for ecclesiastical cultural heritage and religious buildings. The revision of the Concordat and the introduction of the 8×1000 to the Catholic Church have offered the basis for renewed collaboration and the construction of understandings, agreements and services for the promotion of culture at the service of the country.
The Diocesan Office for Culture and Cultural Heritage of the Archdiocese of Benevento in agreement with the “Benedetto Bonazzi” ETS Foundation has prepared the following initiatives on this occasion:
Saturday 11 May 2024, 4.00pm-5.15pm: Visit to the diocesan museum to the notes of the Benevento song with the archaeologist Dr. Giannicola Barone and the “Santa Cecilia” Choir, directed by Maestro Dr. Davide Gagliardi
Tuesday 14 May 2024, 4.00pm-5.30pm: At the Diocesan Museum and at the Capitular Library testimonies of the card. Vincenzo Maria Orsini in the third centenary of his election to the pontifical throne with the director Msgr. prof. Mario Iadanza
Friday 17 May 2024, 4.00pm-5.30pm: At the Diocesan Museum and at the Chapter Library testimonies of the card. Vincenzo Maria Orsini in the third centenary of his election to the papal throne with the director mons. prof. Mario Iadanza
Saturday 18 May 2024, 4.00pm-5.15pm: Visit to the diocesan museum to the notes of the Benevento song with the archaeologist Dr. Lucia Rita Pisano and the Santa Cecilia Choir, directed by Maestro Dr. Davide Gagliardi.
