Born in July last year on the wings of enthusiasm for the completion of the cultural hub, the “Amici del Polo Culturale di Trevi APS” association aims to consolidate its presence in support of the promotion and enjoyment of the city’s places of culture in collaboration with the municipal administration and other local associations.
Chaired by Dr. Rita Liberati, who in the recent past was the protagonist of a precious donation to the museum – the law library of her husband Prof. Alberto Donati -, the association is animated by a large group of citizens eager to contribute to the cultural growth of the community.
There are various initiatives born at the behest of the association, which has around 200 members: the screening of the docufilm on Perugino for citizens and schools, cultural excursions in collaboration with the cooperative that manages the museum complex of San Francesco “Macchine Celibi” , the concert by maestro Alessandro Bistarelli “Homage to Italy” and many others are always planned with the aim of contributing to the dissemination and knowledge of the territory and its cultural heritage.
On May 5th at 6.00 pm the appointment is in the library room of the cultural center in via Lucarini in Trevi for the start of the 2024 membership campaign: the calendar of activities for the current year will be illustrated and, in the splendid scenery of the Cloister of San Francesco a pleasant convivial moment with an aperitif/tasting of typical products and live music with the duo Le Ma.Ni (Maurizio Catarinelli and Nicola Nanni). “I invite citizens to participate – explains President Liberati – so that we can experience our places of culture together”.
