CASTIGLIONE TINELLA – Appointment for Wednesday 1st May in Castiglione Tinella with “Orchid Day“, the annual event which aims to highlight the landscape and the natural environment, admiring the spontaneous orchids that grow in the wooded area adjacent to the town, which can be reached by following the nature trails among the Moscato vineyards which also host the panoramic-literary park “Versi in Vigna”. Meeting at 10 am in Piazza XX Settembre, welcome and then departure for the circular route of approximately 10 km on dirt and asphalt sections.
The meeting is scheduled for 12pm picnic in the clearing inside the Bosco delle Badie and then, following the format of the event, at 2 pm the musical moment among the trees begins “Notes of Ireland: dance on violin with Demetra & Chiara”. At 3pm we continue the walk to the San Carlo panoramic point, where there will be a toast with Moscato d’Asti, focaccia and sweet hazelnut Contessine, and then return to the starting point. Footwear suitable for various types of paths, towel, water bottle and sunglasses are recommended. The cost of participation is 15 euros, 10 euros for children aged 3 to 12 years. In case of bad weather the event will be cancelled.
