CASALI DEL MANCO (COSENZA) – One victim and two injured in serious conditions. This is the outcome of the tragic accident that occurred in Sila along the state road 108 bis to Lorica in the Mellaro area in the municipality of Casali del Manco. A car, a Fiat Punto, and three motorcycles were involved in the accident and collided for reasons still under investigation. The worst case was a 37-year-old from Settingiano, in the province of Catanzaro, who was traveling on one of the motorbikes and who lost his life in the collision. Two other centaurs were also in serious condition and due to the injuries and trauma they suffered, they were urgently transported by two helicopters – which landed in the area – one to the Annunziata hospital in Cosenza and the other to the Pugliese hospital in Catanzaro. In addition to the 118 health workers, the carabinieri from the local station intervened on site and started investigations to reconstruct the dynamics of the tragic accident.
