ERBA – It was inaugurated this morning 23rd edition of Agrinatura, the annual event dedicated to the valorisation of the agricultural, forestry and livestock supply chain and to the promotion of rural tourism and naturalistic and environmental heritage. The main themes of the event this year concern the defense of biodiversity and the construction of territorial networks that further unite agricultural operators.
TO At Lariofiere there are more than 170 exhibitors from 14 Italian regions who will offer seminars, workshops, tastings and educational games for children during the three days of the fair. There are more than 100 stands of agricultural products and in the main pavilion there are both grazing and courtyard animals to immerse yourself even more in nature.
The president of Lariofiere inaugurated the 2024 edition of Lariofiere Fabio Dadati and the various institutional representatives of the territory including: the councilor of the Municipality of Erba, Alessio Nava, the regional councilor Alessandro Fermithe regional councilors Marisa Cesana, Angelo Orsenigo And Giacomo Zamperinithe provincial councilor of Lecco Carlo Malugani and the president of Coldiretti Como-Lecco Fortunato Trezzi.
Councilor Nava immediately spoke: “I am very happy to be here with you at the inauguration of a fair which year after year is becoming more and more important for the city. I see more and more young people getting closer to nature and agriculture: this is an excellent sign for the future.”
Institutional greetings proceed with the representative of the president of the province of Como, Fiorenzo Bongiasca: “We are happy for an event that enhances our territory so much. Agrinatura is an important fair that brings together associations, farmers and us consumers”.
Also for Fortunato Trezzi: “The three-day fair will be very important for the valorisation of the area. But, there is also another initiative in which we are all called to participate. This is the collection of signatures to promote at European level the obligation to indicate the origin of agricultural products in order to respect the work that farmers do every day”.
Finally, he takes the floor Alessandro Fermi which brings greetings from President Fontana: “Agrinatura is one of the most beautiful fairs we have in Lombardy. I would like to remind the institutions that they must pay ever greater attention to the agricultural sector which is part of our identity tradition. The other point I want to touch on is aimed at everyone, inviting us to pay more attention to labeling when we buy a product. Only in this way can we give importance to the entire product chain as will be done in this three-day fair here in Erba”.
