Sasso Marconi (Bologna), 25 April 2024 – He didn’t make it Manuel Bedonni, the 25-year-old was involved in a serious road accident on the Porrettana on the evening of April 24th. The boy, riding a motorbike, crashed into a truck.
He had been taken to the intensive care unit of the Maggiore hospital in serious condition, the sad announcement was made today in the evening. The family decided to donate the organs. In any case, it remains great tragedy: last year he also passed away Manuel’s father. The former Bolognese driver Marco Bedonni, active in rallies, died in April 2023 following an illness.
The accident
It was 9.10pm on April 24th and the young man was walking along the Porrettana in the stretch of Pontecchio Marconi. According to what was reconstructed by the Sasso police, the motorcycle and truck collided head-on. The motorcycle hit the truck sideways: the young driver lost control of the vehicle and ended up on the road.
After the accident, in addition to the 118 health workers, the firefighters also intervened on site free the boy stuck between the sheets of metalthe carabinieri, the agents of the state police and the local police of Casalecchio to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident.
