Manuel Bedonni died at the age of 25 after being the victim of a road accident on Porrettana Vecchia, in Pontecchio Marconi: he was on board his motorbike when he collided with a truck. Last year he lost his father, a rally driver, to an illness.

Mourning in the Bolognese area for the death of Manuel Bedonni. The boy, only 25 years old, was the victim of a car accident last Wednesday 24 April, while he was on board his motorcycle on the via Porrettana. The death occurred today, Saturday 27 April, after three days of agony at the Maggiore hospital in Bologna, where he was transferred immediately after the accident.
Last Wednesday the 25-year-old was on the Porrettana Vecchia, to Pontecchio Marconi, when, for reasons to be clarified, his motorbike collided head-on with a truck. It was around 9pm: the young man, after hitting the truck sideways, was killed embossed on the asphalt ending up on the roadway. The firefighters had to work for a long time to extract the boy from the wreckage. Rescued by 118, he was transported to the Major and hospitalized in the department resuscitationwhere it was finally declared today brain death.
The family decided to donate his organs. Manuel, a lover of engines, had inherited his passion from his father Marco Bedonni, famous pilot from Bologna rally, passed away a year ago following complications from an illness.

Manuel last week you told me that he will surely be grumbling from up there too”, Roberto wrote on Facebook, referring to the 25-year-old’s father. “Have a safe trip little angel, join your dad today”, is the message from another user.
