Two minor boys in Trieste, on bus line 6, towards Piazzale Gioberti, experienced a distressing event today, Saturday 27 April at 10.30 am in Via Giulia. While they were on the bus, they noticed three young people of foreign origin, aged 18 to 20, whose behavior aroused suspicion.
Deciding to get off the bus to avoid a possible conflict, they were chased by the three youths. Unable to free themselves, they headed towards the Rotonda del Boschetto park, but were continually followed. They sought refuge in a bar, where the three young people followed them and drank some coffee. After leaving the bar, the three young people still followed them. The minors thought the situation had calmed down, but while they were walking along Viale Raffaello Sanzio, they were robbed. One of the boys was deprived of 35 euros and his jacket, and was ordered not to report the incident to the police.
The editorial team contacted the mother of the robbed minor, who declared herself disheartened and saddened by the fact that young minors were chased and one of them was robbed, while both were ordered not to report the incident to the police.
