the campers of the Trigano Van company are on fire

A fire broke out in the early afternoon of today, April 27, outside the Trigano Van factory in Paglieta, a French-owned company that produces campers and caravans from the bases of the Ducatos produced by Stellantis Atessa.

The flames broke out around 2.40pm from one of the finished caravans parked in a side yard and then spread to nearby vehicles. The firefighters of Lanciano and the carabinieri of the Paglieta station intervened on site.

According to police estimates, three vehicles were completely burned and another half burned. Four other vehicles were only slightly affected by the flames. No other damage was reported. Today the factory is closed.

At the moment the most probable hypothesis is that of a short circuit, but other tests will be carried out to dispel any doubts. The police will also view the video surveillance cameras. Trigano, a French company, is a leader in the fitting out of campers and caravans starting from the bases of the Ducato vans.
