«We will have a direct line with the community»

COMMONNESS – Administrative experience, management professionalism, strong communication and relational skills. He is a very well-known character, who has always lived community life to the fullest, that of Domenico Sacconi, fashion entrepreneur, candidate for mayor in the next municipal elections with the Comunanza civic list, it’s your turn. Not a self-investiture, but a choice started from the bottom, by a large group of citizens from all social and economic sectors, who have been meeting for a few months to outline the project and define the most suitable person for the role of mayoral candidate.

The challenge

Sacconi takes to the field to challenge the outgoing mayor Alvaro Cesaroni, of whom he was deputy and councilor for budget and work from 2014 to 2019, then left aside for the last 5 years. «A profile with extensive administrative experience was chosen, well integrated into the city’s social and associative context» explains the group’s spokesperson Massimiliano Trobiani. The aim of the project is total differentiation compared to the current administration. «We want to recover the relationship with citizens – Sacconi remarks – which will be open and transparent, of closeness and availability, of listening. An administration close to the people of Comunanza, always present. If I am elected everyone will be able to have my telephone number. The citizen must return to the center of administrative activity. Our administrative model will have the team at the center, in maximum sharing and not polarized on the figure of the mayor, as it currently is. It is necessary to re-establish a direct and constant link with the entire community, in order to understand its needs, starting from the primary ones: from nursery to schools, passing through commerce, work, personal well-being, the precious world of associations and social issues, sport and so on. We will also share investments with citizens based on what they consider priorities.”

Final touches

Program and composition of the list are being defined. «It will be a training with many figures, including young people, with their first administrative experience – anticipates Sacconi – to re-establish enthusiasm and dynamism. We want to reposition Comunanza at the center of the interests of the mountain area, preferring cooperation to closure and litigation.”
