The 800th anniversary of the stigmata of Saint Francis will be celebrated
On Wednesday 1 May, at the Franciscan convent of the Incontro in Villamagna, on the hills of Bagno a Ripoli, the Objective Francesco association is organizing the traditional “Spring Festival” which this year will celebrate the 800 years of the stigmata of Saint Francis with an event from title: “Saint Francis and creation: nature and art to celebrate the 800 years of the stigmata”.

11.00 am: Holy Mass in memory of deceased benefactors and members
12.30 pm: Lunch in the convent park: offered for members and children under 10; 15 euros for non-members. It will be possible to make a request to a member on the spot. Lunch is by reservation only at 3334370837
2.30 pm: Guided tour of the Laudato Si’ gardens with Paolo Luzzi
3.00 pm: “Fritti Fritti”, cuddles, products from the Sanctuary of La Verna
4.00 pm: “Francis: the angel of the sixth seal” by Antonio Natali
5.30 pm: Concert by the Grassina Social Choir
The profits of the day will be allocated to the Objective Francesco projects.
