Collina d’Oro: the Town Hall is back to work

The new Municipality of Collina d’Oro has taken office. The ceremony took place on Monday 22 April: in the presence of the Justice of the Peace Carlo Canonica, the seven newly elected members signed the declaration of loyalty to the Constitution and the laws. A couple of days later, on April 25, the founding session of the new executive was also held and during it the ministries for the 2024-28 legislature and the role of deputy mayor were assigned. The latter was unanimously nominated by Stefano Besomi (Ps-Greens-Independents).

Regarding the departments: Mayor Andrea Bernardazzi (Plr) goes to General Administration, Culture, Communication, Territorial Marketing, Planning and Special Projects, while Besomi goes to Finance, Public Economy, Sport, Youth and Leisure. Livia Balmelli-Bazzuri (Plr) assumed the leadership of Education and Tasis, while the other representative of the Plr Manuel Garzoni Public and private construction and roads. The Lega-Udc-Indipendenti group boasts two women on: Carmen Benagli, who manages Sociality, Health and Cemeteries, and Katrin Carpineti for Environmental Protection. Public Security, Worship and Aqueduct are attributed to the only municipal manager in the Centre, Paolo Bentoglio.
